Światowe Dni Młodzieży w Panamie
Młodzież z Chwaszczyna i okolic bogatą reprezentacją Polski i Kaszub podczas Światowych Dni Młodzieży w Panamie.
Światowe Dni Młodzieży jest to spotkanie młodzieży z całego świata, która swoim życiem świadczy o Jezusie Chrystusie. Młodzi ludzie związani z chwaszczyńską grupą ŚDM za sprawą wielu wysiłków zakwalifikowała się do wąskiego grona zespołów Festiwalu Młodych. W ramach Wydarzeń Centralnych Światowych Dni Młodzieży trwających w dn. 23-27 stycznia 2019 roku grupa młodzieży weźmie czynny udział w przeprowadzeniu wyżej wspomnianego spotkania. Godny uwagi jest cel, który przyświeca Festiwalowi Młodych. Otóż młodzi ludzie przez kilka dni mają możliwość spotkania Pana Boga w drugim człowieku poprzez dzielenie się pasją i talentami z innymi. W ramach przyszłorocznego Festiwalu Młodych 24 stycznia o godz. 21.00 [24 stycznia o godz. 03:00 czasu polskiego], planowany jest występ artystyczny wykonawców naszej grupy. Festiwal Młodych otwiera przed nami niezwykłą sposobność zaprezentowania zgromadzonym pielgrzymom z całego świata dziedzictwa narodowego i kulturowego naszej Ojczyzny – Polski oraz naszej małej Ojczyzny – Kaszub. Młodzież zrzeszona przy chwaszczyńskiej parafii zaplanowała przybliżenie znaczenia
naszych barw narodowych oraz – dzięki współpracy z Fundacją Edukacji Polonijnej – ukazania piękna naszego kraju [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCelkqmkxMs]. Następnie młodzież przypomni postać inicjatora Światowych Dni Młodzieży Jana Pawła II i wykona w wersji dwujęzycznej jego ulubioną piosenkę religijną Barkę. Po tej części prezentacji przyjdzie czas na przedstawienie regionu, z którego pochodzimy [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7yLR7nvXjc]. Młodzież w strojach kaszubskich przybliży legendę o powstaniu Kaszub oraz odśpiewa w języku kaszubskim ludowy utwór Tu je nasza zemia. Na zakończenie występu wszyscy pielgrzymi zostaną zaproszeni do wykonania naszego tańca narodowego – poloneza.
