„Suita Kaszubska” pamięci Daniela Czapiewskiego w „Dzienniku Bałtyckim”
„Suitę Kaszubską” pamięci Daniela Czapiewskiego dołączy do jutrzejszego wydania „Dziennik Bałtycki”. Siedmioczęściowy cykl powstał w oparciu o najbardziej popularne pieśni kaszubskie.
Pianista i kompozytor Konstantyn Wileński wykorzystał motywy z utworów: „Na Kaszëbach”, „Rëbôcë òd wiôldzigò mòrza”, „Żeglôrz”, „Pòczekôj dzéweczkò”, „Tata i kòza”, „Kukówka” oraz „Wele wele wetka”. Jego dzieło wykonały: chór i orkiestra Cappelli Gedanensis w języku kaszubskim. Kompozytor jest Ukraińcem od ponad dwudziestu lat mieszkającym w Polsce. Jak mówi – suitę skomponował z miłości do ziemi kaszubskiej, która odkrył przed nim śp. Daniel Czapiewski. Kaszubski społecznik i przedsiębiorca zmarł ponad cztery lata temu. Najszerzej znany był z rekordów bitych w Szymbarku – np. na najdłuższa deskę świata czy największy fortepian. Kultywował też pamięć o Sybirakach, propagował Kaszuby i rodną mowę. „Suita Kaszubska” pamięci Daniela Czapiewskiego miała premierę w połowie kwietnia w wejherowskiej Filharmonii Kaszubskiej.
Nagranie na płycie CD zostanie dołączone do jutrzejszego nakładu Dziennika Bałtyckiego.
