Strażnicy sprawdzali czym palą mieszkańcy
Ponad 100 kotłowni skontrolowali tej zimy strażnicy miejscy w Kościerzynie. Sprawdzali czym palą mieszkańcy w swoich piecach. Nie wystawiono żadnego mandatu, a udzielono jedynie kilku pouczeń.
Akcja prowadzona jest w Kościerzynie już od kilku lat. Ma uświadomić mieszkańcom zagrożenia płynące z palenia śmieci w przydomowych kotłowniach.
– Wiedza i świadomość Kościerzaków wzrasta – mówi komendant Straży Miejskiej Tomasz Smuczyński.
Strażnicy przez cały sezon grzewczy realizowali niezapowiedziane kontrole gospodarstw domowych. Przyczyną zadymienia, zdaniem strażników miejskich, był często słabej jakości opał. A także lekka zima, która sprawiała że piec i komin nie był odpowiednio rozgrzany, przez co ciężki dym opadał na ziemię.
