Do akcji przystąpiła ponad połowa jednostek z województwa pomorskiego.
Pierwszy etap to profilaktyka, czyli spotkania edukacyjne z dziećmi. Drugi rozpocznie się po ostatnim szkolnym dzwonku – mówi inicjator kampanii, komendant Straży Miejskiej w Rumi Roman Świrski. Strażnicy Miejscy w tym roku więcej uwagi poświęcą również rowerzystom oraz zachowaniu innych uczestników ruchu w okolicach ścieżek rowerowych. Do strażników mogą się jeszcze zgłaszać szkoły i przedszkola, by zaprosić ich na pogadankę o bezpiecznym wypoczynku w wakacje. Oprócz Rumi w kampanii pod patronatem Prefektury Straży Gminnych i Miejskich Województwa Pomorskiego biorą udział m.in. jednostki z Władysławowa, Helu, Wejherowa, Kartuz czy Kolbud.
