Straż Miejska w Wejherowie podsumowała pierwsze półrocze 2016
Ponad 3 tysiące 600 interwencji, prawie tysiąc osób ukaranych mandatami za 114 tysięcy złotych – Straż Miejska w Wejherowie podsumowała pierwsze półrocze 2016.
Ponad pół tysiąca razy straż interweniowała w przypadkach zakłócenia spokoju i porządku publicznego, a ponad tysiąc razy ujawniła spożywanie alkoholu w miejscach publicznych. Wykonano też ponad 200 interwencji wobec właścicieli czworonogów którzy wyprowadzali psy w miejsca publiczne bez należytego nadzoru lub po nich nie sprzątali. Wciąż największą liczbę wykroczeń notuje się w dziale bezpieczeństwo i porządek w komunikacji. Tych wykroczeń zanotowano 1 tys. 266, z czego 327 osób ukarano mandatami karnymi na kwotę ponad 54 tys. złotych, 906. sprawców otrzymało pouczenia a w 13. sprawach skierowano wnioski o ukaranie do sądu. Oprócz tego strażnicy zabezpieczyli 10 uroczystości kościelnych, prowadzili pogadanki w szkołach i przedszkolach, przeszkolili 200 kobiet na kursie samoobrony. Także strażnicy podnieśli swoje umiejętności w udzielaniu pierwszej pomocy, w tym czterech ukończyło dodatkowo kurs Kwalifikowanej Pierwszej Pomocy Medycznej. Odnaleźli 2 pojazdy, ujawnili 7 przestępstw oraz ujęli 20 osób, które przekazali policji. Wejherowska Straż Miejska zatrudnia 31 osób, które pracują na 4 zmianach – do dyspozycji mają 3 radiowozy, quada i 2 rowery. Obsługują też sieć 41. kamer ulicznego monitoringu oraz 26 systemów alarmowych – w tym na Kalwarii Wejherowskiej.
