Stacja Kultura w Rumi najpiękniejszą biblioteką świata
Stacja Kultura w Rumi laureatem konkursu Liberty Interior Design Awards w kategorii Obiekt Jednoprzestrzenny. W drodze na podium rumska biblioteka pokonała kilkudziesięciu konkurentów z całego świata.
– Jury doceniło projekt naszej biblioteki za nowatorstwo i walory utylitarystyczne – mówi dyrektor Stacji Kultura, Krystyna Laskowicz.
Tę prestiżową nagrodę przyznaje międzynarodowe gremium, w skład którego wchodzi Światowe Stowarzyszenie Architektów Wnętrz i Amerykańskie Stowarzyszenie Bibliotek. Nagrody przyznawano w pięciu kategoriach: obiektu jednoprzestrzennego, akademickiego, publicznego, specjalistycznego oraz za rewitalizację budynku. To pierwsze międzynarodowa nagroda Stacji Kultura, w ubiegłym roku biblioteka zgarnęła jeszcze trzy trofea ogólnopolskie: pierwsze miejsce w konkursach Architektura XXL i Nagroda Architektoniczna Polityki oraz drugie miejsce w konkursie Bryła Roku. Dodatkowo Krystyna Laskowicz została Pomorskim Bibliotekarzem Roku 2015.
