Stacja Kultura doceniona w ogólnopolskim plebiscycie
Stacja Kultura w Rumi – nowa siedziba biblioteki – doceniona w ogólnopolskim plebiscycie. Zdobyła najwyższe uznanie internautów i ekspertów w siódmej edycji prestiżowego konkursu Polska Architektura XXL.
Plebiscyt organizowany przez Grupę Sztuka Architektury – jest podsumowaniem najciekawszych realizacji w różnych dziedzinach projektowania. Propozycje wysuwają internauci, którzy oddali w sumie ponad 25 tysięcy głosów na blisko sto obiektów. Oceniło je też jury złożone z fachowców z branży wnętrz i architektury. Stacja Kultura w Rumi zdobyła najwięcej głosów w swojej kategorii – na Wnętrze 2014.
– Uradowała nas już sama nominacja – powiedziała nam dyrektor biblioteki Krystyna Laskowicz.
Według Krystyny Laskowicz największym sukcesem jest to, że czytelnicy z Rumi czują się współgospodarzami w nowej siedzibie placówki. W nowoczesnym, przestronnym wnętrzu zagospodarowanym na potrzeby biblioteki dworcu kolejowym w Rumi placówka mieści się od września ubiegłego roku.
