Sportowcy w Rumi mają nowe boisko
Multisportowe, z pełną infrastrukturą – w Rumi przy ulicy Bukowej powstało nowe boisko. Uzupełniło bazę Salzezjańskiej Organizacji Sportowej, skorzystać z niego będą mogli uczniowie szkół, lokalnych klubów i organizacje pozarządowe.
– Boisko Salos znacząco uzupełnia sportową infrastrukturę miasta – mówi burmistrz Rumi Michał Pasieczny.
Do tej pory w Rumi było tyko jeden obiekt o podobnych możliwościach – Miejski Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji, jednak jego dostępność jest mocno ograniczona kalendarzem imprez. Na Salosie grać można w w piłkę nożną, rugby i unihokeja. Boisko jest oświetlone i monitorowane, są mini-trybuny, wiaty dla zawodników, piłkochwyty, maszty flagowe i stojaki rowerowe. Pierwsi użytkownicy mieli już okazję zapoznać się z nowym obiektem. Budowa boiska Salos kosztowała miejski budżet milion złotych, drugi milion wyłożyło Ministerstwo Sportu i Turystyki.
