S. Bronk nominowany do Pomorskiej Nagrody Artystycznej
Sławomir Bronk, dyrygent chóru Discantus z Gowidlina nominowany do Pomorskiej Nagrody Artystycznej za 2014 rok w kategorii Pomorska Nadzieja Artystyczna. Obok niego szansę na nagrodę główną za wybitne osiągnięcia w kulturze ma kontrabasista Olo Walicki za nowatorską płytę „Kaszëbë II”.
Pomorska Nagroda Artystyczna to najważniejsze wyróżnienie samorządu województwa pomorskiego kierowane do środowiska artystycznego. Honoruje najbardziej znaczące wydarzenia, które miały miejsce w roku poprzedzającym jej wręczenie. Przyznawana jest w trzech kategoriach: kreacje artystyczne, Pomorska Nadzieja Artystyczna oraz Mecenat Kultury. Sławomira Bronka doceniono za animowanie życia muzycznego w regionie pomorskim, m. in. w ramach Letniego Festiwalu Muzyki Kameralnej w Sierakowicach oraz za prowadzenie Chóru Kameralnego Discantus w Gowidlinie.
Z kaszubskich projektów jury nagrody doceniło również najnowszą płytę mieszkającego na Kaszubach kompozytora Olo Walickiego. „Kaszëbë II” to mocne gitarowe brzmienia, przebojowe melodie i prowokacyjne teksty o życiu na Kaszubach. Łącznie do nagrody nominowano 16 osób. Werdykt jury poznamy 23 kwietnia podczas uroczystej gali w w Filharmonii Bałtyckiej w Gdańsku.
