Samorząd Kościerzyny wesprze rewitalizację kościoła św. Trójcy
Samorząd Kościerzyny po raz kolejny wesprze rewitalizację kościoła św. Trójcy. Radni zdecydowali wczoraj o przekazaniu na ten cel 30 tysięcy złotych.
– To jeden z największych zabytków w mieście – podkreśla burmistrz Michał Majewski.
Parafia chce w tym roku dokończyć remont kościelnego dachu. W ubiegłym roku wymieniono poszycie dachowe na północnej i wschodniej części kościoła. Na ten rok pozostawiono najbardziej kosztowne prace, na które według kosztorysu potrzeba ponad 600 tysięcy złotych. Parafia ubiega się na ten cel o dofinansowanie z Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego. Parafia Świętej Trójcy w Kościerzynie to jedyna na świecie parafia, na której terenie znajdują się dwa sanktuaria maryjne: Królowej Rodzin i Matki Bożej Bolesnej.
