Samorządowcy z powiatu wejherowskiego zaniepokojeni możliwością opóźnienia budowy Trasy Kaszubskiej w ramach Programu Budowy Dróg Krajowych. Podpisali wczoraj deklarację poparcia dla tej inwestycji.
– Deklaracja poparcia ma być odpowiedzią na niepokojące sygnały docierające do samorządów od posłów – podkreśla wejherowska starosta, Gabriela Lisius.
Trasa Kaszubska ma połączyć Obwodnicę Trójmiasta z Lęborkiem i odciążyć krajową szóstkę. To część drogi ekspresowej S6, istotnego szlaku transportowego między aglomeracjami portowymi Trójmiasta i Szczecina. Dokument sygnowała szefowa samorządu powiatowego oraz wójtowie siedmiu gmin wiejskich: Luzina, Linii, Łęczyc, Szemuda, Wejherowa, Choczewa oraz Gniewina. – Ta droga to ogromna szansa nie tylko na rozwiązanie problemów transportowych, ale też na rozwój gospodarczy – mówi wójt gminy Luzino, Jarosław Wejer.
