Są na półmetku rewitalizacji osiedla Zamenhofa – Opata Hackiego
W Gdyni są na półmetku rewitalizacji osiedla Zamenhofa – Opata Hackiego. Koszt dotychczasowych prac to ponad 18 mln zł, w dużej części pokryty z unijnego dofinansowania. Zbudowano okalającą osiedle kanalizację deszczową ze zbiornikiem retencyjnym, co pomoże rozwiązać problem podtopień ulic i parkingów po opadach deszczu.
Odtworzono też nawierzchnię ulic Komierowskiego i Opata Hackiego. Skrzyżowania, dla bezpieczeństwa, zostały wyniesione i oznakowane jako równorzędne. W ramach rewitalizacji osiedla wyremontowano trzy budynki mieszkalne. Prowadzony jest też remont budynku biblioteki przy Opata Hackiego, po którym placówka zyska nową funkcję domu sąsiedniego. Będzie m.in. organizować zajęcia, warsztaty i spotkania integrujące lokalną społeczność. W drugim etapie rewitalizacji Zamenhofa – Opata Hackiego zostanie zbudowana uzupełniająca kanalizacja deszczowa wewnątrz osiedla. Przebudowana zostanie ulica Zamenhofa, powstaną kolejne parkingi oraz place do rekreacji na świeżym powietrzu.
Częścią gdyńskiego projektu są też działania prospołeczne. Najbliższym będzie Europejski Dzień Sąsiada, który 18 maja zorganizuje Fundacja Zmian Społecznych „Kreatywni”.
