Rywalizowali o indeks Gdańskiej Wyższej Szkoły Humanistycznej
Niemal 130 uczniów pomorskich szkół ponadgimnazjalnych rywalizowało w drugim etapie Olimpiady Wiedzy o Bezpieczeństwie. To już dziewiąty konkurs organizowany wspólnie przez Straż Miejską w Gdańsku i Gdańską Wyższą Szkołę Humanistyczną.
– Im wcześniej z tą wiedzą docieramy do młodych ludzi, tym dla społeczeństwa korzystniej – tłumaczy Wojciech Siółkowski z gdańskiej Straży Miejskiej.
Kształcenie, edukacja w zakresie prawa, a także kreowanie wśród młodzieży odpowiedzialności za własne czyny – to główne cele Olimpiady. W szranki o główną nagrodę, czyli indeks GWSH stanęli uczniowie m.in. z Gdańska, Sopotu, Helu, Kościerzyny i Rumi. Zmierzyć musieli się z zagadnieniami z prawa karnego, ustawy o strażach miejskich czy gminnych przepisach porządkowych. Test, według deklaracji uczestników, nie był trudny. Weryfikacji tych prognoz doczekamy się 9 lutego – wówczas poznamy około 30 szczęśliwców, którzy 7 kwietnia zmierzą się w finale olimpiady w Kościerzynie.
