Kobiety cierpiące z powodu przemocy mogą liczyć na wsparcie
Ruszyła kampania 16 Dni Przeciwko Przemocy Wobec Kobiet. Policjanci, prawnicy i psychologowie będą doradzali pokrzywdzonym kobietom jak sobie poradzić z trudną sytuacją życiową.
– Nie trzymajmy tego problemu w tajemnicy przed innymi, bo to niczego nie rozwiązuje, a jedynie wzmaga poczucie bezkarności sprawcy – apeluje Monika Bradtke.
To międzynarodowa kampania zainicjowana w 1991 roku w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Jej celem jest przeciwdziałanie wszelkim formom przemocy ze względu na płeć oraz budowanie kobiecej solidarności, a także uświadamianie społeczeństwu wagi problemu. Przemoc domowa ma różne formy, i spotkać ją można nawet w tzw. dobrych domach – mówi Monika Bradtke z komendy powiatowej policji w Pucku.
Do 10 grudnia w ośrodkach pomocy społecznej, prokuraturach czy na komendach policji w całym kraju kobiety dotknięte przemocą domową uzyskają pomoc psychologiczną i porady prawne. Kampania rozpoczęła się wczoraj w Międzynarodowym Dniu Przeciw Przemocy Wobec Kobiet a zakończy 10 grudnia Międzynarodowym Dniem Praw Człowieka
