W Kartuzach ruszyła budowa nowego gmachu Sądu Rejonowego. Ten powstanie w sąsiedztwie wydziału ksiąg wieczystych przy ulicy Kościuszki. Budynki ze sobą połączone szklanym łącznikiem.
– Łącznie przybędzie nam 1500 m2 powierzchni mówi prezes Sądu Rejonowego w Kartuzach Wojciech Woszczyński.
Siedziba wydziału ksiąg wieczystych zostanie gruntownie wyremontowana. Nowy gmach będzie miał cztery kondygnacje nad ziemią i dwie pod ziemią. Nowy gmach będzie spełniał najwyższe standardy. Będzie wyposażony w sprzęt do nagrywania rozpraw, do konferencji i przesłuchiwania świadków na odległość. Powstaną oddzielne poczekalnie dla świadków i nowa sala do przesłuchiwania małoletnich, oraz powiększone zostanie archiwum. Realizacja inwestycji zajmie się Ministerstwo Sprawiedliwości. Budowa ma się zakończyć za 2 -3 lata. Firma, która wygrała przetarg zaoferowała kwotę ponad 20,5 mln zł.
