Rusza tegoroczna edycja programu „Pomagamy bezdomnym”
W Wejherowie rusza tegoroczna edycja programu „Pomagamy bezdomnym”. Strażnicy rozpoczynają kontrole miejsc, gdzie mogą przebywać osoby bez dachu nad głową i proszą mieszkańców miasta o sygnały.
Pod lupę będą brane przede wszystkim pustostany, kontrole będą prowadzone głównie po zmroku. Program „Pomagamy bezdomnym” realizowany jest przez wejherowską Straż Miejską od 1995 roku. Zbierają o nich dane i współpracują z Miejskim Ośrodkiem Pomocy Społecznej. U dyżurnego Straży Miejskiej znajdują się podpisane przez dyrektor MOPS skierowania do schronisk dla bezdomnych. Osoby, które zdecydują się na pobyt w takiej placówce otrzymują od strażników także bilet na dojazd.
