Z większym rozmachem będzie przeprowadzona tegoroczna edycja programu „Gdynia na fali”. Jego celem jest edukacja najmłodszych w zakresie żeglarstwa, bezpieczeństwa na plaży i w wodzie oraz pierwszej pomocy.
– Teraz całość przeprowadzimy w marinie – zaznacza koordynator z ramienia Gdyńskiego Centrum Sportu Agnieszka Gruszka.
Liczbę przedszkoli i szkół objętych programem zwiększono z 24 do 40. Uczniowie jednej z nich uczestniczyli w ogłoszeniu nowej edycji – razem z wiceprezydentem Gdyni Markiem Łucykiem. Do tej pory część zajęć odbywała się w klasach. Pierwsze zajęcia odbędą się w Marinie Gdynia 7 marca. Zwieńczeniem programu „Gdynia na fali” będzie Rodzinny Piknik Żeglarski na przełomie maja i czerwca.
