Rumia zdobyła grant na innowacyjny projekt
Ciepło i chłód oraz prąd dla Rumi – miejski samorząd zdobył grant na innowacyjny projekt. W jego realizacji pomogą partnerzy z Norwegii.
Rumski projekt zajął 4 miejsce na 20 zgłoszonych przez samorządy z całej Polski. Dotyczy sporządzenia analizy budowy siłowni poligeneracyjnej, która obsługiwałaby tereny położone od Karczmy Zochlina, aż do Galerii Rumia. Przedsięwzięcie zostanie sfinansowane w ramach „Polsko-norweskiej platformy współpracy dla poszanowania energii i klimatu”, którego liderem jest Związek Miast Polskich. Planowana siłownia ma być wyposażona w rozwiązania zapewniające wysoką sprawność oraz produkcję energii elektrycznej, ciepła i chłodu. Jej lokalizację zaplanowano wstępnie na terenie Zakładu Remontowa LNG Systems, którego przedstawiciele wyrazili chęć współpracy.
Krajowym partnerem w projekcie jest Instytut Maszyn Przepływowych Polskiej Akademii Nauk. Rumski samorząd będzie też czerpał z doświadczeń gmin norweskich – planowane są dwie wizyty studyjne w Norwegii oraz wizyta norweskich partnerów w Rumi.
