Rozstrzygnięto konkurs na projekt nowej szkoły dla Chwarzna-Wiczlina
W Gdyni rozstrzygnięto konkurs na projekt nowej szkoły dla Chwarzna – Wiczlina.
To dzielnica, która dynamicznie się rozwija, teraz mieszka tu 10 tysięcy osób a według prognoz do 2030 roku liczba ta zwiększy się pięciokrotnie. W nowej szkole docelowo ma się uczyć 650-u uczniów, obiekt ma powstać do września 2018 roku. Projekt obejmuje budynek szkoły podstawowej składającej się z 24 oddziałów i 2 grup dzieci pięcioletnich, budynek przedszkola wraz ze żłobkiem. Będzie też wspólna kuchnia ze stołówką, biblioteka szkolna z czytelnią, aula z opcją audytorium. Część sportowa obejmuje budowę sali gimnastycznej i sportowo-rekreacyjne zagospodarowanie terenu z boiskami, kortem tenisowym, bieżnią, placami zabaw.
Konkurs na projekt wygrał zespół z Warszawy. Autorzy zwycięskiej pracy zaplanowali zespół budynków nawiązujących skalą i materiałem do pobliskiej zabudowy wielorodzinnej, jak również do lokalnych wzorców wczesnej architektury modernistycznej – informuje Urząd Miasta Gdynia. Zabudowę zespołu oświatowego rozlokowano w taki sposób, że tworzy ona jednocześnie pierzeję ulicy Wiczlińskiej, a wewnętrzne przestrzenie rekreacyjne odizolowane są od hałasu generowanego przez ruch samochodowy.
