W Gdyni rozpoczyna się żeglarski festiwal – Volvo Gdynia Sailing Days.
17 edycja imprezy, przyciągającej do gdyńskiej mariny żeglarzy z całego świata, to pełne emocji 10 dni morskich zmagań, przegląd różnych klas – począwszy od windsurfingu, przez jednostki jedno i dwuosobowe, aż po jachty balastowe i morskie oraz katamarany. Na starcie staną dzieci, profesjonalni zawodnicy oraz starsi żeglarze. Ideą tej imprezy jest również zainteresowanie i przybliżenie żeglarstwa mieszkańcom Trójmiasta oraz turystom – rywalizacja odbywa się w pobliżu plaży skąd można oglądać zmagania. Dla widzów na brzegu będą też dodatkowe atrakcje.
Volvo Gdynia Sailing Days rozpoczynają się dzisiaj od Pucharu Europy w klasie 29er. Program animacji sportowo – rekreacyjnych na plaży ruszy 09 lipca, wstęp do strefy będzie bezpłatny.
