Rozpoczęły się prace archeologiczne na Wzgórzu Markowca w Rumi
Rozpoczęły się prace archeologiczne na Wzgórzu Markowca w Rumi. To kolejny etap „rewitalizacji Zagórza”, na który miastu udało się pozyskać blisko 13 mln złotych unijnego dofinansowania. Szczyt wzgórza miasto zakupiło od prywatnego właściciela. Za ponad 2 ha gruntu Rumia zapłaciła 200 tysięcy złotych. Docelowo powstanie tam m.in. góra saneczkowa, park linowy, amfiteatr oraz trasa kolarstwa górskiego, mówi burmistrz Rumi Michał Pasieczny. Jednak zanim na wzgórzu zostaną wykonane atrakcje, teren muszą sprawdzić archeolodzy. Prace archeologiczne potrwają do końca października. Zakończenie rewitalizacji Wzgórza Markowca nastąpi najpóźniej w 2022 roku.
