Rozpoczęli akcję liczenia osób bezdomnych w mieście
Policjanci i pracownicy MOPS w Kościerzynie rozpoczęli akcję liczenia osób bezdomnych w mieście.
– To miejsce, z którego mogą skorzystać osoby trzeźwe – przypomina Janina Czaja, dyrektor Miejskiego Ośrodka Pomocy Społecznej w Kościerzynie.
Sprawdzano piwnice, pustostany i budynki dworca kolejowego. Informowano też osoby bez dachu nad głową o możliwości uzyskania pomocy w ogrzewalni, który ruszy w Kościerzynie w połowie listopada. Według danych MOPS w Kościerzynie przebywa obecnie około 30 osób bez dachu nad głową. Ogrzewalnia przy ulicy Towarowej będzie uruchomiona 16 listopada i będzie funkcjonowała do połowy kwietnia.
