Rozpoczął się festiwal „Odnalezione w tłumaczeniu”
Przekład to krew ratująca życie tekstu – to teza z wystąpienia, które zainaugurowało trzydniowy festiwal tłumaczeń literackich w Gdańsku.
To już druga edycja imprezy zorganizowana przez Instytut Kultury Miejskiej, która obok Nagrody Europejskiego Poety Wolności ma stanowić podkreślenie znaczenia literatury we współczesnym świecie. Biorą w niej udział pisarze, tłumacze i krytycy literaccy. Ukoronowaniem festiwalu będzie Nagroda za Twórczość Translatorską imienia Tadeusza Boya – Żeleńskiego. Festiwal „Odnalezione w tłumaczeniu” to największa tego typu impreza w Polsce. W tym roku głównym tematem są tłumaczenia literatury anglojęzycznej.
