Rowerowy Maj w Gminie Żukowo
Ogólnopolska kampania Rowerowy Maj w tym roku także zawita do szkół w gminie Żukowo. Od 7 do 30 maja każdy uczeń i nauczyciel, który dotrze na lekcje w sposób aktywny: na rowerze, hulajnodze, rolkach czy deskorolce, otrzyma naklejki do rowerowego dzienniczka i na wspólny plakat klasowy. Dla najaktywniejszych uczestników, klas i placówek przewidziane są atrakcyjne nagrody.
Do kampanii z gminy Żukowo przystąpiło 10 szkół: SP Glincz, SP Żukowo nr 1, SP Żukowo nr 2, SP Banino, SP Chwaszczyno, SP Miszewo, SP Pępowo, SP Przyjaźń, SP Skrzeszewo, SP Borkowo. To o cztery więcej niż w zeszłym roku. Zeszłoroczna kampania pokazała, że w gminie Żukowo uczniowie chętnie korzystają z alternatywnego środka transportu jakim jest rower, hulajnoga czy rolki. Aż 72,73% uczniów z sześciu szkół w gminie aktywnie uczestniczyło w akcji Rowerowy Maj. W czasie trwania kampanii łącznie odbyło się 26 866 rowerowych podróży, a przynajmniej raz na dwóch kółkach do szkoły przyjechało 1269 spośród 1846 zgłoszonych do akcji uczniów. Najbardziej rowerową szkołą z frekwencją 50,68% została szkoła w Glinczu, która w nagrodę otrzymała stację rowerową oraz wiatę parkingową dla rowerów.
W tym roku także dla uczestników Rowerowego Maja przewidziane są upominki oraz nagrody specjalne, a trzy najlepsze szkoły otrzymają nagrodę pieniężną od Burmistrza Gminy Żukowo.
