Rośnie zagrożenie pożarowe w lasach zniszczonych sierpniową nawałnicą
Niedogaszone ognisko było przyczyną wczorajszego pożaru na terenie Nadleśnictwa Lipusz. W okolicach miejscowości Dywan spaliły się 3 hektary zrębu na terenach ponawałnicowych i jeden hektar młodnika.
– Pożar stanowił ogromne zagrożenie – mówi komendant Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Kościerzynie brygadier Tomasz Klinkosz.
W akcji ratowniczej udział brało 8 wozów strażackich z powiatu kościerskiego i bytowskiego oraz samolot gaśniczy. Strażacy apelują do właścicieli lasów o niepalenie gałęzi i wyjątkową ostrożność. – Tereny ponawałnicowe są szczególnie zagrożone. Tylko w miniony weekend kościerscy strażacy interweniowali przy 3 pożarach lasu i ponad 20 pożarach traw.
