Rośnie liczba zwiedzających wejherowskie muzeum
Rośnie liczba zwiedzających wejherowskie Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko – Pomorskiej. W ubiegłym roku było to o dwa i pół tysiąca osób więcej niż rok wcześniej.
– Do aktywnego udziału w życiu muzeum zachęcaliśmy też poprzez konkursy – mówi dyrektor Tomasz Fopke.
Do odwiedzin zachęciły m.in. nowe zbiory pozyskane przez placówkę – kolekcja fotografii Augustyna Siemensa, pamiątki po kaszubskim pisarzu Stanisławie Pestce, a także bogata oferta: 32 wystawy, 29 koncertów i 19 promocji książek. Oferta wejherowskiego muzeum jest tak profilowana, by zachęcać do odwiedzin także dzieci i młodzież. W bieżącym roku muzeum planuje m.in. wystawić po raz pierwszy pozyskaną w grudniu kolekcję Franciszki i Aleksandra Majkowskich, a także stuletnią kolekcję fotografii Pomorza udostępnioną przez Muzeum Zachodnio – Pruskie w Warendorfie. Dyrektor wejherowskiej placówki zadeklarował też, że odbędą się konkursy i „Spotkania z muzyką Kaszub” – mimo że nie otrzymały w tym roku wsparcia z ministerialnej puli na dotacje dla mniejszości narodowych i etnicznych.
