Corocznie marnotrawimy kilkanaście milionów opakowań leków – alarmuje Komunalny Związek Gmin „Dolina Redy i Chylonki”. Na terenie 8 gmin związku od Gdyni po Szemud i Kosakowo rok temu zebrano 17,5 tony odpadów leków i wyrobów farmaceutycznych. Zdaniem naukowców przeterminowane leki trafiające na wysypiska odpadów to bomby ekologiczne. Dlatego ważne jest aby, te farmaceutyki trafiały do odpowiednich pojemników ustawianych w aptekach, ośrodkach zdrowia a też w 10 punktach zbiórki odpadów niebezpiecznych zlokalizowanych w 8 gminach związku. Kategorycznie nie możemy wyrzucać zużytych leków do zmieszanych śmieci – mówi Anna Gatner- Białoskórska z Komunalnego Związku Gmin Dolina Redy i Chylonki.Apeluje przewodniczący związku Tadeusz Wiśniewski. Na terenie Związku w 160 miejscach w aptekach i ośrodkach zdrowia można oddawać zużyte leki.
