„Pudełko życia” – kasetka ratująca życie
Co powinno znaleźć się w lodówce samotnej, starszej osoby? Pudełko życia – podpowiada wejherowski MOPS. Specjalną kasetkę, gdzie można schować dane dotyczące grupy krwi, chorób, branych leków, pracownicy socjalni mają zamiar rozdać dwóm tysiącom osób. Ratownicy medyczni wzywani na interwencję do samotnych osób – na przykład takich, które mimo wieku chcą nawet za cenę zdrowia zachować niezależność – wskazują na problem. Często znajdują oni osoby, o których nic nie wiedzą, bez danych kontaktowych, historii choroby, dokumentów. By dobrać dla niej leki i jak najszybciej jej pomóc takie informacje są niezbędne. Pracownicy socjalni z wejherowskiego MOPS wpadli na pomysł. Będą namawiać dwa tysiące starszych, samotnie żyjących osób z Wejherowa i okolic, by spisywali potrzebne dane, ze wskazaniem na przykład gdzie znaleźć teczkę z badaniami albo jakich członków rodziny powiadomić. Takie dane mają trafić do lodówki, trzymane w pudełku wielkości pojemnika na margarynę. Producent takich pudełek zaoferował nam je bezpłatnie – mówi dyrektor MOPS Ewa Kłosowska. Dlaczego pudełka życia mają trafić właśnie do lodówki? To miejsce, które w mieszkaniu najłatwiej jest zlokalizować. Ratujące życie pudełka będą rozdawane w listopadzie, w zestawie z naklejką na drzwi lodówki – tu znajdziesz pudełko życia.
