Przystępują do unijnego projektu „Kajakiem przez Pomorze”
Gmina Kościerzyna oficjalnie przystępuje do jednego z największych pomorskich unijnych projektów „Kajakiem przez Pomorze”. Uchwałę intencyjną w tej sprawie podjęli radni na ostatniej sesji.
– 3 mln z tej puli mogą trafić do gminy Kościerzyna, która planuje utworzenie 4 tras kajakowych biegnących rzekami Wda, Pilica, Graniczna i Trzebiocha oraz jeziorami Wdzydzkimi – mówi zastępca wójta Grzegorz Świtała.
W ramach projektu na całym Pomorzu ma powstać co najmniej 15 szlaków kajakowych z przystaniami i stanicami. Mają być oznakowane a część z nich będzie się łączyć w dłuższe trasy. Inwestycja, warta wstępnie około 50 mln złotych, ma być realizowana ze środków unijnych do 2020 roku. Inwestycja ma poprawić jakość turystyczną województwa, gdzie do dyspozycji jest ponad 30 spławnych rzek. Budowa przystani ma rozpocząć się w 2017 roku.
