Przez Wejherowo do Gościcina jedziemy wolniej. Tydzień wcześniej niż zapowiadano Generalna Dyrekcja Dróg Krajowych i Autostrad zmniejszyła obowiązujące ograniczenie do 50 km/h. Zmiana organizacji ruchu obejmie odcinek od Redy po Gościcino – przypomnę że do wczoraj można tam było jechać do 70 km/h. Bezpośrednią przyczyną ograniczenia dozwolonej prędkości są zainstalowane na terenie miasta urządzenia do rejestracji przejazdów na czerwonym świetle, na skrzyżowaniach kierowcy mieli problem z wyhamowaniem pojazdu. – Od początku roku doszło tam już do 8 kolizji – mówi komendant Straży Miejskiej Zenon Hinca. Zdaniem GDDKiA, która wprowadziła zmiany – obniżenie prędkości do 50 km/h sprawi, że będzie bezpieczniej, będzie większa płynność ruchu, lepsza przepustowość i mniejszy hałas.
