Przez upały więcej pracy mają inspektorzy Animals
Upały nie sprzyjają zwierzętom. Tym samym coraz więcej pracy mają inspektorzy Animals. Najwięcej interwencji dotyczy zbyt krótkich łańcuchów, braku schronienia przed słońcem czy braku dostępu do wody. Zdarza się, że zwierzęta żyją w tak tragicznych warunkach, że odbierane są właścicielom. Tak było niedawno w okolicach Rotembarka koło Kościerzyny. W innym przypadku pies uwiązany był na środku pola, bo w zamyśle właściciela miał bronić upraw przed dzikimi zwierzętami. Niestety latem ludzie zapominają o potrzebach zwierząt mówi Elżbieta Jerzyk z OTOZ Animals oddział Kościerzyna. Wszelkie nieprawidłowości w opiece nad zwierzętami można anonimowo zgłosić inspektorom Animals bądź służbom mundurowym.
