Przebudowaną ulicą Żwirową we Władysławowie można już jeździć. Na razie jednak bardzo ostrożnie, bo trwają prace wykończeniowe. Na prowadzącej do nowego ronda i wyjazdu na Łebcz ulicy zniknęły dziurawe, betonowe płyty. Jest gładki asfalt, powstały też: chodnik i oświetlenie oraz wyniesione skrzyżowania, przed którymi trzeba zwolnić.
– Potrzebna była gruntowna przebudowa, by poprawić komfort jazdy i bezpieczeństwo na tej kluczowej dla nas drodze – mówi burmistrz Władysławowa Roman Kużel.
Budowane są jeszcze zatoczki parkingowe. Póki co korzystając ze Żwirowej trzeba zachować wzmożoną ostrożność ze względu na prace na poboczach. Modernizacja kosztowała 3,5 mln zł przy wsparciu z tzw. schetynówek. Była możliwa dzięki współpracy gminy Władysławowo i powiatu puckiego, które wcześniej razem zbudowały rondo na Chłapowskiej. Teraz kolej na poszerzenie drogi na Łebcz i wybudowanie tam ścieżki rowerowej.
