Gimnazjum Salezjańskie w Rumi nie do pobicia w „Poznajemy ojcowiznę”
Promowali Kaszuby na całą Polskę – uczniowie z Rumi wrócili zwycięsko z ogólnopolskiego konkursu „Poznajemy ojcowiznę”. Polega on na zebraniu, opracowaniu i przedstawieniu materiałów dotyczących danego terenu, zjawisk na nim występujących bądź ciekawych osób. Gimnazjum Salezjańskie w Rumi od wielu lat odnosi na tym polu sukcesy.
– Pod okiem naszej nauczycielki geografii uczniowie poznają okolice i rozwijają swoje pasje, nie pierwszy raz to doceniono – mówi dyrektor Salezjańskiego Gimnazjum w Rumi ksiądz Stefan Makuracki.
Opiekunka uczniów Hanna Topolska otrzymała w tym roku nagrodę im. Heleny Cieślak, prestiżowego odznaczenia PTTK. Jej podopieczni na siedem edycji tylko w jednej nie zajęli pierwszej lokaty. – W tym roku praca w terenie przy robieniu wywiadów i zbieraniu materiałów przyniosła zwycięstwo – mówi Hanna Topolska. Opisuje zwycięzca konkursu Mateusz Klebba. To była 24 edycja ogólnopolskiego konkursu „Poznajemy Ojcowiznę”. Na kolejną uczniowie chcą przygotować prezentację dawnych linii kolejowych na Kaszubach, bądź dotyczącą pracy jastarnickiego szkutnika.
