Profesor Linkner Honorowym Obywatelem Kościerzyny
Historyk literatury, autor wielu książek i opracowań profesor Tadeusz Likner odebrał najwyższe w Kościerzynie wyróżnienie Honorowego Obywatela Miasta. Podczas uroczystości podkreślano wybitne zasługi profesora na niwie kaszubskiej literatury oraz promocji Kościerzyny, gdzie mieszka od wielu lat.
– Kościerzyna to moje miejsce na ziemi – podkreślał profesor Tadeusz Likner.
– Zainicjował tam coroczne Kościerskie Targi Książki i mocno angażuje się w organizowany przez Muzeum Ziemi Kościerskiej wojewódzki konkurs dla gimnazjalistów „Kaszubi wczoraj i dziś” – mówiły nauczycielka Wanda Lew Kiedrowska ze Stężycy i dyrektor biblioteki w Bolszewie Janina Borchman. Honorowe obywatelstwo to najwyższe wyróżnienie przyznawane w Kościerzynie. Dotychczas w tym gronie byli profesor Edward Breza, abp Henryk Muszyński, prezydent Lech Wałęsa, ambasador Janusz Reiter i patron kościerskiego Muzeum dr Jerzy Knyba. (Foto: www.wikimedia.org)
