Prezentowali kaszubską kulturę w nowoczesnym wydaniu
Po kaszubsku można śpiewać także Abbę – przekonywali uczniowie pierwszego Liceum Ogólnokształcącego w Wejherowie. O tym że rodzima kultura może być nowoczesna i atrakcyjna przekonywali podczas Dnia Kaszubskiego.
– Uczniom trzeba pokazać, że nasza kultura może być atrakcyjna nie tylko jako folklor – mówi nauczycielka z wejherowskiej „jedynki” i organizatorka Dnia Kaszubskiego, Jolanta Piastowska.
Bodźcem do rozpoczęcia w szkole tej akcji trzy lata temu była słaba frekwencja na zajęciach z języka kaszubskiego. Mówił członek jury Roman Dżeżdżon. Walory kaszubskiej kultury odkrywano poprzez warsztaty decoupage`u i liczne konkursy: recytatorskie, poezji śpiewanej czy aranżacji znanych hitów – furorę zrobiła kaszubska wersja Mamma Mia światowego hitu zespołu Abba. Uczestnicy Dnia Kaszubskiego przyznają, że właśnie takie, współczesne i lekkie podejście do tematu zachęca młodych do poznawania swoich korzeni. W trzecim Dniu Kaszubskim w I Liceum Ogólnokształcącym w Wejherowie wzięło udział ponad 50 uczniów tej placówki.
