OPS z powiatu kościerskiego świętowały 25-lecie działalności
To trudna praca, choć dla większości z nich jest po prostu pasją. Pracownicy Ośrodków Pomocy Społecznej z powiatu kościerskiego świętowali dzisiaj 25 – lecie działalności. Podczas uroczystości podkreślano rolę Ośrodków i dobrze rozumianej pomocy mobilizującej do zmian.
– W Kościerzynie z pomocy Ośrodka korzysta 900 rodzin – mówi szefowa Miejskiego Ośrodka Pomocy Społecznej w Kościerzynie Janina Czaja.
Ramy tej działalności określono, w pierwszej po latach PRL, ustawie o pomocy społecznej z 1990 roku. Wtedy powstały popularne „kuroniówki”, a z latami powiększał się zakres obowiązków pracowników GOPS – mówili uczestnicy dzisiejszej uroczystości.
