Pozyskano pieniądze na wydanie reportaży Stanisława Jankego
Wejherowskie muzeum pozyskało 20 tysięcy złotych na wydanie zbioru reportaży literackich Stanisława Jankego.
Dofinansowanie pochodzi ze środków Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego na promocję literatury i czytelnictwa. Pozyskano je na projekt „Język u wagi. Opowieści o Kaszubach nieznanych”. Zakłada on wydanie zbioru reportaży Stanisława Jankego, pracującego jako reporter od 1979 roku w miesięczniku „Pomerania” – jednym z nielicznych niezależnych periodyków w PRL-u. Poszukiwania literackie i reporterskie Jankego w tej książce dotyczyć będą przede wszystkim miejscowości kaszubskich mało znanych, peryferyjnych oraz mieszkających w nich ludzi, którzy z pasją pracują społecznie na rzecz swoich środowisk. Jego bohaterowie często przezwyciężają samych siebie, by pokazać innym miejscowe bogactwo tradycji i kultury.
20 tys. złotych na wydanie zbioru to piąte ministerialne dofinansowanie pozyskane w tym roku przez Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej w Wejherowie. Pozostałe to: 45 tys. zł na konserwację rysunków i negatywów z kolekcji Franciszki i Aleksandra Majkowskich, 16 tys. zł na cykl koncertów „Spotkania z muzyką Kaszub”. Dotacje pozyskano też na konkursy: prozatorski im. Jana Drzeżdżona i literacki im. Jana Trepczyka.
