Budowa placu zabaw na osiedlu Sucharskiego i cykliczna impreza integracyjna Dzień Sąsiada zebrały najwięcej głosów w tegorocznej edycji wejherowskiego Budżetu Obywatelskie. Zwycięzców poznaliśmy na gali w Filharmonii Kaszubskiej. Na wręczeniu wyników był Marcin Szczepański.
17 972 – tyle głosów oddali mieszkańcy Wejherowa w drugiej odsłonie budżetu obywatelskiego. I choć nieco ponad tysiąc było nieważnych, to i tak było ich o 17 procent więcej niż w ubiegłym roku. Tę zależność prezydent Wejherowa Krzysztof Hildebrandt tłumaczy coraz lepszym zrozumieniem idei budżetu obywatelskiego.
Łącznie sito weryfikacji przeszło 5 projektów inwestycyjnych i dwa tzw. projekty miękkie. W pierwszej kategorii najwięcej, bo 1856 głosów zdobył pomysł budowy placu zabaw i rekreacji na osiedlu Sucharskiego, w drugiej natomiast triumfował Dzień Sąsiada – pomysł na cykliczną imprezę integracyjną – również z Osiedla Sucharskiego. Jak podkreślała wnioskodawczyni Dnia Sąsiada, Alicja Kobiela – projekty powinny służyć integracji mieszkańców.
