Powiat Pucki będzie dwukrotnie większy. Zmiany wynikają z podziału Zatoki Gdańskiej na akweny przyległe do sąsiadujących z nimi gmin. Powierzchnia powiatu puckiego zwiększy się o około 28 tys. 705 hektarów – czyli o około 50 procent.
– Zalew Wiślany już dawno przeszedł ten prawny proces. Teraz czas na Kaszuby – podkreśla zastępca starosty powiatu puckiego Tomasz Herrmann.
Starania o uregulowanie ewidencji gruntów starostwo powiatowe w Pucku podjęło 10 lat temu w związku z obiektami budowlanymi na akwenie – m.in. torpedownią. Koncepcję podziału Zatoki Gdańskiej Urząd Morski w Gdyni uzgodnił w grudniu ubiegłego roku. Prawnie Zatoka Pucka ma zostać przyłączona do terytorium powiatu puckiego pod koniec tego roku.
