Potężne korki paraliżowały wczoraj po południu Gdynię z powodu dwóch awarii. Najpierw około godziny 15:00 pękła rura pod ulicą Morską w Chyloni – pomiędzy Owsianą a Zbożową, czyli blisko skrzyżowania Morskiej z Obwodnicą.
Awarię magistrali wodociągowych szybko usunięto, ale istniała obawa że woda podmyła jezdnię – dlatego zamknięto ruch w obu kierunkach, w korkach stali kierowcy jadący w kierunku Rumi i jadący do centrum, policjanci ręcznie kierowali ruchem przez wyznaczony objazd. Następna awaria i potężne utrudnienia w ruchu nastąpiły po godzinie 17:00 w Orłowie – na wysokości ulicy Nawigatorów doszło do wycieku gazu. Uszkodzenie powstało pod wpływem ciężaru koparki. Aleja Zwycięstwa została zamknięta w obu kierunkach, ewakuowano mieszkańców pobliskich budynków. Po godzinie 20:00 mogli już wracać do mieszkań, otwarto też ruch samochodów w kierunku Gdańska. Pas w stronę Gdyni ponad godzinę później.
