Już ponad 200 razy poszukiwacze skarbów dotarli do powiatu kościerskiego. Od 3 miesięcy ukrytych jest tam 40 skrzynek geokeszingowych. Zabawa w ich odnajdywanie to pochodzący ze Stanów Zjednoczonych geokeszing.
Zasady gry są proste. Wystarczy zarejestrować się na jednym z portali poświęconych geokeszingowi, ściągnąć dane GPS i wyruszyć w teren w poszukiwanie tak zwanych keszy. W Polsce od 2001 roku umieszczono ich już kilka tysięcy. Od 3 miesięcy dostępne są też w powiecie kościerskim. Ich administratorem jest Lokalna Organizacja Turystyczna „Serce Kaszub”. Jak opowiada Lidia Narloch z biura organizacji – skarby ukryte są na 7 trasach przygotowanych dla turystów pieszych i rowerowych. Informacje o trasach i keszach na całym świecie dostępne są na stronach internetowych – wystarczy w wyszukiwarkę wpisać: „geocaching” pisane przez CH.
