Porządku w gdyńskich lasach pilnuje więcej strażników miejskich
To efekt rosnącej liczby zgłoszeń od mieszkańców, dotyczących m. in niszczenia leśnej ściółki przez samochody i quady.
– Tylko w ciągu kilku ostatnich dni strażnicy interweniowali kilkanaście razy wobec osób, które nie tylko zaśmiecały tereny leśne, ale rozjeżdżały leśne drogi urządzając sobie na nich wyścigi motocyklowe i parkując samochody – informuje Danuta Wołk-Kwraczewska, rzeczniczka Straży Miejskiej.
Kierowcy, którzy zapuszczali się głęboko w las i stawali na leśnych polankach niszcząc roślinność zostali ukarani mandatami. Wszyscy, w większości młodzi ludzie, zasłaniali się brakiem świadomości, że łamią obowiązujące przepisy. W podobny sposób tłumaczyli się motocykliści, brawurowo jeżdżący po wąskich leśnych duktach, stwarzając niebezpieczeństwo dla spacerowiczów i zwierząt, niszcząc leśne runo. Systematyczne kontrole doprowadziły już do tego, że amatorzy nielegalnego toru motocyklowego wykrytego przez strażników w lesie na Pustkach Cisowskich, zaprzestali swoich rajdów.
