Port lotniczy Gdynia-Kosakowo będzie budowany
Port lotniczy Gdynia-Kosakowo będzie budowany, mimo decyzji Komisji Europejskiej o zwrocie pomocy – zapowiedział prezydent Gdyni. Spółka prowadząca budowę będzie musiała zwrócić samorządom miasta Gdyni i gminy Kosakowo ponad 90 milionów złotych, bo zdaniem Komisji Europejskiej publiczne wsparcie finansowe na budowę zostało przyznane niezgodnie z unijnymi zasadami. Jego udzielenie ma zagrażać interesom już działającego portu lotniczego w Gdańsku. Przy okazji pojawiły się pytania o ekonomiczną zasadność dwóch lotnisk w Trójmieście. Prezydent Gdyni Wojciech Szczurek odniósł się też do stanowiska prezydentów Sopotu i Gdańska, którzy wraz z marszałkiem województwa pomorskiego w liście otwartym odcinają się od budowy lotniska w Kosakowie. Jego zdaniem inna była wymowa podpisanego w 2005 roku listu intencyjnego, a obecne komentarze to polityczna gra.
