Port Gdynia będzie testować urządzenia do pomiaru odoru
Port Gdynia jako pierwszy podmiot gospodarczy w Polsce będzie testować urządzenia do pomiaru odoru. Zainwestuje też 6 milionów złotych w prace nad ochroną środowiska – dzięki pozyskaniu unijnego dofinansowania.
– Mało która firma prowadzi pomiary takich zagrożeń środowiskowych, dlatego powstanie cała metodologia mierzenia odoru – mówi dyrektor ds. inwestycji unijnych w Porcie Gdynia, Krzysztof Gromadowski.
Port Gdynia jest w Polsce liderem przeładunków drobnicowych oraz jedynym portem otoczonym miastem. To sprawia, że szczególnie dotyczą go kwestie związane z pyłem, hałasem, odorem i na nich właśnie chce skupić swoją działalność w projektach ochrony środowiska. Posłuży temu dotacja z konkursu Scale Up – Start in Poland, prawie 6 mln zł. Projekt złożyła Pomorska Specjalna Strefa Ekonomiczna, która prócz systemu czujników chce opracować koncepcję optymalnego zarządzania swoją „Doliną Logistyczną”.
