Ponad 6 mln złotych zaoszczędziła gmina Kościerzyna w ubiegłym roku. Nadwyżka i wolne środki finansowe zostaną przeznaczone przede wszystkim na budowę i remonty dróg.
– Na jej finanse wpływ mają oszczędności i rosnące wpływy z podatków dochodowych mieszkańców – tłumaczy wójt Grzegorz Piechowski.
Mimo że gmina od 5 lat nie podnosi stawek opłat lokalnych jej wpływy ciągle rosną. Kościerzyna jest największą i zarazem najbogatszą gminą wiejską w powiecie kościerskim. Oprócz inwestycji drogowych, z nadwyżki budżetowej finansowane będą również w gminie Kościerzyna inwestycje wodno – kanalizacyjne.
