Ponad 24 tysiące interwencji, co druga zakończona mandatem
Ponad 12 i pół tysiąca mandatów wystawiła w ubiegłym roku wejherowska straż miejska, w ten sposób zakończyła się co druga podejmowana przez strażników interwencja – wynika z podsumowania ubiegłego roku. Skierowano też ponad 2 tys. wniosków o ukaranie do Sądu Rejonowego w Wejherowie. Z przygotowanego przez wejherowska straż miejska zestawienia widać, że liczba interwencji ciągle rośnie. Ponad 1 tys. 200 razy dotyczyły one spożywania alkoholu w miejscach niedozwolonych, prawie 200 razy straż wzywała pogotowie ratunkowe do osób potrzebujących pomocy medycznej. Do tego prawie sto wspólnych patroli z policją, m.in. przy zabezpieczaniu imprez masowych, prawie 90 wspólnych akcji ze strażą pożarną. O połowę zmalała za to odnotowana przez straż liczba wykroczeń drogowych, co jest zasługą krytykowanych często fotoradarów – komentuje komendant wejherowskiej straży miejskiej Zenon Hinza. Dodam, że wejherowska straż miejska monitoruje miasto za pomocą 72 kamer – również na kalwarii wejherowskiej, a jej szeregi zasilają między innymi były zawodowy piłkarz, ultramaratończyk i kickbokser.
