Ponad 1700 nowych krzewów przyozdobiło Park Żelewskiego
Ponad tysiąc siedemset nowych krzewów przyozdobiło Park Żelewskiego w Rumi Janowie. Zieleń nasadzono w ramach budżetu obywatelskiego.
To jeden z pomysłów mieszkańców wyłonionych do realizacji w ubiegłorocznym głosowaniu. Żywopłot kosztował prawie 19 tysięcy złotych, roślinne ogrodzenie ma podnieść bezpieczeństwo dzieci bawiących się w parku. A razem z monitoringiem, który zostanie uruchomiony w najbliższym czasie, ma też zwiększyć poczucie spokoju ich rodziców.
Tegoroczna edycja Budżetu Obywatelskiego w Rumi jest w toku. Realizowana jest według metropolitalnego kalendarza wspólnie m. in. z Trójmiastem i Władysławowem. Mieszkańcy Rumi złożyli 60 wniosków, m.in. z pomysłami na organizację plaży nad Zagórską Strugą, miasteczka rowerowego, czy koncertów filharmonicznych dla dzieci. Głosowanie nad tymi projektami odbędzie się we wrześniu.
