Ponad 14 mln zł na rewitalizację dzielnicy Nowy Świat w Lęborku
14 mln 200 tys złotych na rewitalizację dzielnicy Nowy Świat otrzyma miejski samorząd w Lęborku. Podpisano umowę na unijne dofinansowanie w ramach Zintegrowanych Inwestycji Terytorialnych.
Oprócz inwestycji projekt przewiduje wsparcie dla mieszkańców. Baza ZKM przy ulicy Łokietka zostanie zaadaptowana na Klub Osiedlowy “Baza”, gdzie działać będzie punkt wsparcia rodzin, seniorów i ośrodek pracy z młodymi. Będzie też m.in. placówka wsparcia dziennego dla dzieci i młodzieży, powstaną tereny rekreacyjne przy ulicach Kazimierza Wielkiego i Malczewskiego i zaplecze sportowe za remizą przy Stryjewskiego. – Nowy Świat pilnie potrzebuje odmiany – mówi burmistrz Lęborka Witold Namyślak. Inwestycje będą kosztować ponad 11 mln zł, reszta – czyli ponad 3 mln – przeznaczona zostanie na prowadzenie warsztatów dla młodzieży, poradnictwa zawodowego i zajęć terapeutycznych. – Mimo tej dysproporcji to właśnie społeczny aspekt rewitalizacji jest najważniejszy – ocenia pomorski marszałek Mieczysław Struk. Na rewitalizację dzielnicy Lęborka potrzeba w sumie 21 mln zł, unijna dotacja pokryje 2/3 kosztu. Prace mają potrwać do końca 2021 roku.
