Ponad 1000 dzieci na obchodach Światowego Dnia Ziemi
Pilny temat niska emisja – pod tym hasłem dzisiaj w Kościerzynie odbędą się obchody Światowego Dnia Ziemi. Weźmie w nich udział ponad tysiąc uczniów z całego regionu.
– Zapraszamy do udziału również dorosłych, bo będzie można dostać drzewko za makulaturę – mówi organizatorka Teresa Preis z Ligi Ochrony Przyrody.
W programie zaplanowano warsztaty i konkursy ekologiczne, a także prezentacje młodzieży na temat jakości wody, powietrza i gleby w Kościerzynie. Na stoiskach będzie można skorzystać z porad dotyczących segregacji śmieci, a także odnawialnych źródeł energii.
Obchody Światowego Dni Ziemi rozpoczną się o 09:30 kolorowym korowodem dzieci, który przejdzie od Zespołu Szkół Publicznych nr 1 do ogródka jordanowskiego. Tam odbędzie się festyn ekologiczny, który potrwa do godziny 14:00.
