Orkiestra Dęta Gm. Wejherowo szuka funduszy na udział w ważnym konkursie
Orkiestra Dęta Gminy Wejherowo chce wziąć udział w prestiżowym konkursie w Chorwacji. Niestety, brakuje funduszy, więc muzycy apelują o wsparcie.
Międzynarodowy Festiwal Orkiestr Dętych w chorwackim Splicie to prestiżowy konkurs,w którym o laury powalczą muzycy amatorzy z Europy Środkowej. Zespoły m. in.z Finlandii, Czech i Słowacji zaprezentują się w trzech kategoriach, wezmą również udział w uroczystej paradzie ulicami miasta.
– Wyjazd muzyków z Kaszub do Chorwacji stoi jednak pod znakiem zapytania. Przeszkodą są finanse – mówi dyrektor Gminnego Ośrodka Kultury z Gościcina, Natasza Sobczak.
Orkiestra z Wejherowa działa od 24 lat, ma na swoim koncie liczne sukcesy, m. in. I miejsce na Konkursie Orkiestr Dętych Straży Pożarnej w Kartuzach i wyróżnienia na festiwalu „Kwiaty Polskie” na Litwie. Na wyjazd do Chorwacji muzykom brakuje jeszcze 10 tysięcy złotych. Kwotę muszą zebrać do 20 kwietnia. Osoby, które chciałyby wesprzeć tę inicjatywę mogą się zgłaszać do gościcińskiego Ośrodka Kultury.
